Esses dias terminei mais um rewatch do The X Files, acredito que seja a quarta vez ou por aí... a assistida final, provavelmente, antes de cair o pano.

Entendi muito mais coisas e referências em relação às assistidas anteriores. 

Enfim é isso.

So, it's been a month since I became a 40 year old guy. Feels pretty weird, not because something's changed, but because it did not. My inner self is still a dumbass 16 year old kid. 

Also, today marks 9 years of my father's passing. It's something that hit me like a truck back then, and continues to do so everyday. I hope this shit-show called life ends soon, so that I can be with him again and tell him everything I wanted to say to him, but never did.

Comic books?

So, when you search for #comicbooks tag on Instagram, it's always super-hero comic books, you know? It's never the other comic books, like Woody Woodpecker and the like. Why is that? Is there another term for that kind of comic book? It's not cartoon, I tell you.

videogame memories

I was reminiscing the other day about the time when I got my SEGA Master System. It was sometime in 1994, my dad finally had enough of my asking for a new videogame console and we went to the store with the intent to buy the SEGA Mega Drive that I wanted.

When we got there, however, the Mega Drive wasn't available anymore, and the clerk said they could bring one within 2 days, but I knew better. At that time, here in Brazil, it would take at least a week or two to arrive. I was so adamant on the intent of bringing a console home that day that I decided to pick up a Master System they had on the store. 

It came with Sonic the Hedgehog built-in on the memory, and boy did I play that game a lot.

I just wonder how it would be if I had got the Mega Drive instead. How different my, well, life would be? What game I would have gotten? One thing is for sure, I'd probably miss Phantasy Star, one of my favourite games ever.
